Are These The 10 Best Ford Commercials of All Time?

Earlier this October, to the surprise of many, Ford announced that a new creative agency would be leading the charge, injecting some much-needed inspiration into future Ford commercials and advertising campaigns. Before the game-changing announcement, the new agency, BBDO, was deemed internally as an underdog, a long shot, the David to then-current agency WPP’s Goliath. The rest, as they say, is history.

While this news may not mean much to us as a San Antonio Ford dealer, it did push us deep down the YouTube rabbit hole—far deeper and for far longer than we’d like to acknowledge, mind you. But the adventure made us realize something: Ford has made some pretty awesome car commercials over the years. To those killer advertisements and the creative minds who made them, we salute you. Here’s our list of the 10 best Ford commercials ever made, in no particular order.

Don’t Drive Distracted

Ford takes your safety seriously. The newest Ford vehicles and driver-assist technologies are proof. There’s Adaptive Cruise Control, which keeps your vehicle at a set distance behind traffic. There’s Evasive Steering Assist, which provides additional steering support if a collision is imminent. There’s the Blind Spot Information System, Cross-Traffic Alert, Pre-Collision Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking…and the list of tech goes on, including the upcoming Ford Co-Pilot360.
